Liz Ellis

Premier: Sunshine Coast Lightning (GIANTS Netball pre-season prediction)
Runner-up: Melbourne Vixens (Magpies Netball Club pre-season prediction)
Biggest improver: NSW Swifts (Melbourne Vixens pre-season prediction)
Rising Star: Emily Mannix (Kim Jenner pre-season prediction)
League MVP: Mwai Kumwenda (Sharni Layton pre-season prediction)
Player to score the most goals in the season: Caitlin Bassett (Romelda Aiken pre-season prediction)
Player to get the most intercepts in a season: Sharni Layton (no change in prediction)
Recruit that has flourished at their new club: Maddy Proud (Stacey Francis pre-season prediction)
Most dangerous shooting combination: Mwai Kumwenda/Tegan Philip (Susan Pettitt/Jo Harten pre-season prediction)

“I was congratulating myself early in the season about picking Giants for the win given their early form, but I think the loss of Kim Green is too big an obstacle for them to overcome.  Lightning are improving every week and I think will take out the title.”

“Philip and Kumwenda share the load equally and look to set each other up. Harten and Pettit haven’t nailed that yet, although they are travelling nicely.”
