The defender has announced she is expecting her first child and will sit out the rest of the season.

The midcourter is expecting her first child later this year. Young gun Hope White has been elevated as a replacement player.
Tilly McDonell - Calf
Defender Tilly McDonell is expected to miss the next four weeks with a calf injury. Training partner Aimee Landrigan will join the squad for Round 7.
Jodi-Ann Ward - ACL
Jamaican defender Jodi-Ann Ward is ruled out for the remainder of the season after suffering an ACL tear in Round 7.
Former New Zealand Silver Ferns captain Casey Kopua will replace her for Sunday's match against the Vixens.
MELBOURNE MAVERICKS
Lauren Parkinson – ACL
Defender Lauren Parkinson suffered a severe knee injury at last year’s Suncorp Team Girls Cup, which ruled her out of the 2024 season. On the mend, the defender is expected to make her return in the coming rounds.
Eleanor Cardwell - Knee
Eleanor Cardwell has undergone further surgery on her left knee and is expected to miss part of the season.
Uneeq Palavi has been named as permanent temporary replacement player until Cardwell returns from injury.

Emily Mannix – Pregnancy
Mannix welcomed her first child earlier this year. She’s currently working with the Vixens on her return but for now Maggie Caris has been named as her temporary replacement.

While not injured, Proud is expecting the arrival of her first child in May. Verity Simmons has joined the team for the season in Proud’s place.

Tippah Dwan - Knee
Dwan will miss the Firebirds' Round 8 match with Abigail Latu-Meafou named as temporary replacement player again.

Ava Black – ACL
Lightning’s Ava Black ruptured her ACL during the pre-season and as a result will miss the 2025 SSN season. In her place Lightning have signed Kristiana Manu’a as a permanent replacement player.

Ruth Aryang - Achilles
Up-and-coming defender Ruth Aryang has ruptured her Achilles tendon at training and will miss the remainder of the season.
