2019 Finals FAQs
Sunshine Coast Lightning will host the Grand Final at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre.
BEC was selected as Lightning’s home Grand Final venue due to its increased capacity compared to the University of Sunshine Coast (Lightning’s home venue).
This means a greater number of fans will have the opportunity to attend the Grand Final.
As the host team, Sunshine Coast Lightning get the value of knowing they will be in the Grand Final a week before the home team. As added value of being a member of the Lightning, the League has allocated Lightning members a pre-sale from Thursday 5 September to Sunday 8 September.
Whilst Lightning members do receive earlier access, the ticketing has been set up that away team members will receive an allocation of tickets to purchase regardless of whether the home team member allocation is exhausted or not. Any unsold tickets from the Lightning member pre-sale will automatically go into the away team presale.
Yes! Away members and fans will have access to purchase tickets in the allocated “away team fan zone”, however away team fans are not limited to only purchasing into this area.
Gather your netball friends and watch the game live on Channel Nine, or the Netball Live App.
Teams will communicate directly with members the process for purchasing tickets during the pre-sale.
The grand final host members will have pre-sale access from Thursday 5 September at 11.00am AEST as the host of the grand final will be know, (however the opponent still TBC).
*Only members of home and away teams playing in applicable match will have access to pre-sale tickets.
For the Grand Final at Brisbane Entertainment Centre, this is 4 tickets/barcode with a maximum of 10 tickets/transaction.
Please note it is expected that the ticket allocation will exhaust quickly, therefore it is recommended that members be ready before the pre-sale period officially opens.
Tickets go on sale to the public on Tuesday 10 September at 3pm AEST.

General public tickets will be on sale from the Tuesday morning (times vary each week) prior to each match. Visit supernetball.com.au/finals for ticket links to purchase. An allocation must be set aside for the general public sales period.
Tickets will be distributed from Ticketek once General Public sale commences. This is Tuesday 27 August at 4pm (AEST) in week 1, Tuesday 3 September 3pm in week 2 and Tuesday 10 September at 3pm in week 3.
Netball Australia has worked closely with the venue to ensure a similar allocation of tickets are available to the public as per the regular Suncorp Super Netball season.
This is venue/location dependent – more specific information on ticket pricing, categories, etc will be released once venues are known.
2 – 14 years (inclusive). Patrons under the age of 2 are free (sit on knee).
Concession tickets are available for holders of Full Time Student, Pensioners and Seniors Cards.
A family ticket is 2 adults + 2 children, or 1 adult + 3 children.
Due to the size restrictions on our venues for week 1 and 2 of the finals series, we will not be offering group discounts as we want to give the best access to as many groups of fans as possible.
For the Grand Final there will be a discount available for parties of more than 12. Please contact Ticketek directly on 13 28 49 to purchase.
Due to the on-sale times of other major Ticketek events on-sale times, such as AFL and NRL finals, SSN has slightly changed the on-sale time of Grand Final tickets to ensure all ticket buyers have a smooth purchasing experience online.
