Ruth is the sister of Fever player Sunday Aryang. She was signed as a member of the club's extended squad for the first time in 2022 after winning the Medal for the fairest and best player in the Gold Industry Group Western Australia Netball League in 2021, starring a goal defence for ECU Souwest Jets.
