First off, we hope you and your loved ones are healthy and looking out for everyone around you. Secondly – we hope you are excited!!! Because we are.
With our season around the corner, the overwhelming feeling amongst our players and staff is just that, excitement. Excitement for our sport to be back, excitement to continue to innovate and grow and excitement to watch our teams chase an SSN premiership.
We are in this position on the verge of a new season because of your loyalty through what has been the most trying of circumstances, both at a personal and sporting level. You have stuck fast with us by pledging your membership even though you might not have the chance to physically attend games, by staying engaged and interested in our athletes and their lockdown lives, or simply through waiting in anticipation for when our season would eventually start. Without you, we wouldn’t be here. So, Thank you.
This season has shown us, more than ever how loyal, proud and passionate you are. You have kept this season alive and inspired all of us to overcome whatever is thrown at us.
If you’re reading this, you know Netball is more than a sport to us. It’s a part of each of us, we can’t describe it, but the sport means something more. Netball is a sport for all, but undeniably, it’s a sport for women. We are beyond proud to be able to bring women’s sport into your lounge rooms. We are the first female sport to be back on TV in Australia. Our female athletes are strong, proud, and compelling to watch.
By getting our sport back, and putting it front and centre, we are proving that we are part of the fabric of Australian sport, that we can unite and overcome. Through this, we hope the entire Australian sporting public can #SeeWhatWeAreMadeOf.
