The full 2020 Suncorp Super Netball fixture has revealed that netball fans will be treated to 18 weeks of action, all kicking off on Saturday 2 May and ending with the Grand Final on Sunday 30 August.
With the introduction of the league’s first ever split round (Round 8), fans will enjoy 18 weeks of competition and teams will enjoy a mid-season bye with Round 8’s usual four matches split over two weekends in June.

As was revealed earlier this week, the 2020 season gets off to a huge start with the opening round featuring a Grand Final re-match between the NSW Swifts and Sunshine Coast Lightning at the defending champions new home, Ken Rosewall Arena in Sydney.
Other fixture highlights include two league-wide themed rounds with Indigenous Round in Round 5 to coincide with National Reconciliation Week and Confident Girls Round in Round 9.
The fixture also reveals the return of the hugely successful Queen’s Birthday public holiday showdown between the Collingwood Magpies and Melbourne Vixens, and that matches will be played in Launceston and Canberra, bringing Suncorp Super Netball to regional areas.
Suncorp Super Netball CEO Chris Symington said if the 2019 season showed fans anything, it was that anything is possible with the NSW Swifts not only playing in their first finals series but winning the premiership, and the Collingwood Magpies bumping GIANTS Netball from their finals berth in the dying second of the home and away season.
“Not many could have predicted the storylines that came from the incredible 2019 Suncorp Super Netball season and we have no doubt that 2020 will feature much of the same, edge-of-your seat action,” he said.
“Suncorp Super Netball reached more people than ever before in 2019 and we look forward to bringing another stellar season of the world’s premier netball competition to netball fans right across Australia and the world.”
Like previous seasons, two Suncorp Super Netball matches per round will be broadcast live on Nine’s main channel during family-friendly timeslots and two matches will be exclusive to Telstra TV, with all four matches available on the Netball Live Official App, both live and on demand.
All eight Suncorp Super Netball clubs will continue to play each other once at home, and once away.
All matches being held at RAC Arena in Perth will be officially confirmed as soon as possible.
Club memberships for the 2020 season are now on sale and tickets for the season will go on sale in early March.
