The Suncorp Super Netball League is pleased to announce its official fixture for the 2023 season, showcasing the return of back-to-back weekend matches and milestone rounds.
The 2023 Suncorp Super Netball fixture will again feature Saturday night timeslots (5:00pm AEST and 7:00pm AEST) and back-to-back Sunday afternoon clashes (2:00pm AEST and 4:00pm AEST), giving fans access to watch the world’s best netballers compete in the world’s best league.
The seventh edition of Suncorp Super Netball will begin on Saturday 18 March with the Collingwood Magpies and NSW Swifts match preceding the highly anticipated Grand Final rematch between reigning premiers the West Coast Fever and the Melbourne Vixens.
The rematch will take place at Perth’s RAC Arena, which attracted a record attendance at the 2022 Suncorp Super Netball Grand Final with a crowd of 13,908.
In its second year as the Suncorp Super Netball League’s broadcast partner, the Foxtel Group will continue to bolster viewership accessibility with all matches to be broadcast live and ad-break free during play on Fox Sports, available on Foxtel and Kayo.
Additionally, once again two select matches each round will be available to watch live and free via Kayo Freebies. Kayo Freebies will also broadcast all finals matches and the Grand Final live and free, to ensure no netball fan misses a moment of finals action.
First Nations Round will return in 2023 across Round 11 and Round 12 to coincide with National Reconciliation Week. Each home team will host a game to showcase their engagement with and commitment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in front of their home crowds.
The Easter long weekend in Round 4 will feature three days of Suncorp Super Netball action, with matches to be held from Saturday 8 to Monday 10 April.
In a league first, a match will be played on ANZAC Day (Tuesday 25 April) when the Collingwood Magpies host the Lightning at Melbourne’s John Cain Arena.
The Melbourne Derby between the Vixens and the Magpies has cemented its place on the King's Birthday public holiday, while Round 8 will launch the league’s inaugural Inclusion Round.
The Suncorp Super Netball Finals Series will be played across four weeks in June and July. In line with the league’s Grand Final venue format, a predetermined location will be announced ahead of season commencement.
The Grand Final will take place on Saturday 8 July and conclude the Suncorp Super Netball League season ahead of the Origin Australian Diamonds’ 2023 Netball World Cup campaign in South Africa.

“We have built upon an amazing fixture from last year that provided maximum engagement for clubs and fans, which resulted in the final seconds of the last home and away game having a defining impact on the 2022 finals configuration.
"With a variety of dedicated rounds and the return of back-to-back weekend matches, we cannot wait for the 2023 Suncorp Super Netball season to commence.
"We are also excited to introduce the league wide Inclusion Round to the fixture, which will afford Clubs the opportunity to support and celebrate inclusion initiatives that is specific to their playing group and communities."
