Geitz captained the club to three championships across a glittering career in the former ANZ Championship, before taking time out of the game following 2016’s premiership to become a mother for the first time.
The 30-year old made her return to the international stage after 18 months away at the Commonwealth Games in April.
Making her debut in 2005, Geitz retires with 169 National league caps and two ANZ Championship Player of the Year awards (2011, 2014) to her name and is undoubtedly one of the greatest players the game has seen.
