Lewis has been elevated from a Training Partner contract in replacement of Annika Lee-Jones, who was a contracted athlete for the past two seasons.
Goal Attack, Teague-Neeld joins Fever from Magpies Netball, having signed with the expansion franchise in 2017 after spending time at the Melbourne Vixens, and has played 32 games at National League level.
The 22-year-old is one of the brightest young shooters in the country, having won 17U National Netball Championship MVP honours in 2013, and serving as the Australian World Youth Cup Vice Captain last year.
Lewis is a prodigious young defender, and was also named 17U National Netball Championship Most Valuable Player, a feat she repeated at this year’s 19U National Netball Championships.
Lewis is a product of the Netball WA Athlete Pathway, having represented Western Australia at 17U, 19U and Western Sting level.
Teague-Neeld said she was excited to move to Perth with her boyfriend, and acknowledged Nat Medhurst as an icon of the game.
“It was a tough decision to leave Magpies, and move across to the West, but it’s definitely the right decision,” Teague-Neeld said.
“Watching Fever this year, it was clear they had something special, they were having fun and playing great netball.”
“Stacey says she is focused on the future and it was clear the culture of the Club was strong, and the closeness of the girls on and off the court is evident as well.”
“I am under no illusion of the size of shoes to fill, but I will do everything in my power to be the best possible player for West Coast Fever.”
Head Coach Stacey Marinkovich said she was excited by Fever’s future.
“We have a clear vision to be the best elite netball club on and off the court, and we’re certainly excited by what both Alice and Olivia bring to the Club,” Marinkovich said.
“Olivia has been a part of the Fever environment for two-years now and understands the Club, while Alice is one of the country’s rising shooters, and we know what she is capable of.”
“We are certainly focused on the future, particularly the next three years, and both these athletes will play pivotal roles in our push for success.”
