The Adelaide Thunderbirds are set to play in front of a home crowd at Netball SA Stadium, with their match against the Collingwood Magpies going ahead at 3pm on Sunday.
The Thunderbirds and Magpies clash will be open to fans, with Netball SA Stadium able to run at 75 per cent capacity under direction from SA Health.
The Adelaide Thunderbirds will be in direct contact with their members and ticket holders on ticketing and match-day arrangements.
Melbourne’s John Cain Arena will host the remaining Round 9 matches, with the Queensland Firebirds set to take on GIANTS Netball at 5pm on Sunday, after the NSW Swifts play the West Coast Fever at 1pm on Sunday.
Both matches will be played under quarantine restrictions and will be closed to fans.
The Melbourne Vixens will come up against the Sunshine Coast Lightning at John Cain Arena at 3pm on Saturday, which will be open to fans at 50% stadium capacity, in line with current state government restrictions.
Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday 2 July 2021 at 10am via Ticketek.
The fixture is based on current advice from state health authorities and governments.
Netball Australia CEO Ron Steiner said discussions were continuing on fixture details for Round 10 and beyond.
“I’d like to thank all the players, coaches, staff and officials who continue to sacrifice so much for the competition,” Steiner said.
“We have adjusted the fixture taking into account the latest health advice from authorities, ensuring the welfare of our fans, players, officials and staff is the highest priority.”
