The Suncorp Super Netball League can confirm Queensland Firebirds player Tippah Dwan has withdrawn from tonight’s match after being linked to a Tier 1 exposure site.
Dwan has returned a negative test result and is isolating for 14 days after being notified she had attended a Tier 1 exposure site in Melbourne.
Training partner Mia Stower will come into the squad for tonight’s match against the Sunshine Coast Lightning, which will go ahead as planned.
The game will be played at Nissan Arena at 7:00pm (AEST) and be broadcast live on Telstra TV and the Netball Live app.
The Firebirds also announced Tara Hinchcliffe is a late withdrawal due to a leg injury and will be replaced by Ruby Bakewell-Doran.
The league is working closely with state governments to protect the health and wellbeing of all players, staff and umpires as well as the broader community.
The league and all Suncorp Super Netball clubs are closely monitoring exposure sites.
