The 2024 Suncorp Super Netball Grand Final between the Adelaide Thunderbirds and Melbourne Vixens will be played in front of a sold out crowd this Saturday night.
Teams will contend for the Suncorp Super Netball silverware from 6:30pm ACST at Adelaide Entertainment Centre with over 9,000 tickets sold.
The 2024 Grand Final marks the third year in a row the League’s pinnacle match has sold out, following the 2023 Grand Final in Melbourne and Perth’s record-breaking Grand Final in 2022.
“We are thrilled to announce the 2024 Suncorp Super Netball Grand Final is an official sell out,” said Netball Australia CEO Stacey West.
“Thank you to our passionate Suncorp Super Netball fans. The unprecedented demand for tickets showcases how the excitement and anticipation for the League’s biggest day of the year has continued to grow year-on-year.”
The 2024 Suncorp Super Netball Grand Final will be available to watch live and on demand on Kayo Freebies and Foxtel.
Fans will have two final opportunities to secure tickets to the 2024 Suncorp Super Netball this week in the Golden Ticket Giveaway.
Two double passes to the Grand Final will be up for grabs at the League’s Rundle Mall Grand Final Pop-Up across Thursday 1 August and Friday 2 August.
One gold double pass will be won each day, with Thursday’s knockout shooting competition starting at 4:30pm ACST and Friday’s at 11:00am ACST.
South Australian Premier Peter Malinauskas said, “We’re in for an epic Suncorp Super Netball Grand Final as local and interstate fans alike fill the Adelaide Entertainment Centre for a sold-out premiership decider.
“Hosting our own Adelaide Thunderbirds as they compete for the premiership title in their hometown is incredibly exciting for local fans – and to have the Melbourne Vixens coming from what is our state’s largest interstate market is a win for our tourism industry.
“I encourage everyone to make the most of the Grand Final activities throughout this week, from family fun in Rundle Mall to seeing the nation’s best netballers train at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.”
The Grand Final excitement will go beyond the court on Saturday with a variety of entertainment and activities on offer, including the return of the Clubhouse.
The Clubhouse is a dedicated fan zone open to Grand Final spectators featuring live music, skill challenges, Suncorp Super Netball player appearances, 360-degree photobooth, face-painting, food trucks, giveaways and more. It will be open from 4:30pm and located within The Orb at Adelaide Entertainment Centre.
SEN will broadcast the 2024 Suncorp Super Netball Grand Final live on the SEN App from 6.30pm AEST.
