Nyah Allen and Emma Ryde have returned to the Magpies squad for another season and will be joined by emerging midcourt player Maggie Lind.
Allen was agile and creative with her movement in the ring last season, taking to the court for the Magpies in eleven games.
Ryde is known for her strong body positioning in the ring and also made a total of seven appearances for the Magpies last season.
Lind returns to the Holden Centre this season having been a part of the club’s 2019 Super Club championship side. The 27-year-old played a key role for the City West Falcons in the Victorian Netball League where she established herself as a competitive wing-attack.
Collingwood’s Head Coach Nicole Richardson is excited to see what the three will bring to the side this season.
“We’re thrilled to have Nyah and Emma back with us in 2021 after they showed some really strong signs last year.”
“To also have Maggie return in a permanent capacity this season is exciting and she’s going to be a great asset to our midcourt.”
All three training partners will travel with the squad this weekend for a series of pre-season games in Tasmania.
