West Coast Fever have been the dominant side all season but have had a tough run of games heading into the finals series.
The minor premiership all comes down to this one remaining game.
For Fever, if they win the match then the top spot is theirs – lose and they could potentially tumble to as low as fourth on the ladder.
The equation is similar for the Giants, who need to win to claim top spot on the ladder.
If Giants Netball lose, they will have to secure three bonus points to guarantee that they won’t potentially be ousted from the top two by the chasing Queensland Firebirds and Sunshine Coast Lightning (depending on their two results and the amount of bonus points they get).
If they lose but win two bonus points, and the Sunshine Coast Lightning win all eight points against the Melbourne Vixens, second place will be decided on percentage between the Giants and Lightning (Giants currently hold a 1.3% advantage over the Lightning).
It’s all on the line and both teams will be pumped from the first centre pass to the final buzzer.
