Joining the Adelaide Thunderbirds as a training partner in 2016, Hodges debuted for the club in 2018 and has since played 13 matches, scoring 125 goals at 79% accuracy.
Adelaide Thunderbirds Head Coach Tania Obst is extremely pleased to sign Hodges as a temporary replacement for Glasgow.
“Charlee has been called into the Adelaide Thunderbirds squad on numerous occasions over the last two years and has proven she is capable of performing at the Suncorp Super Netball level, plus she’s familiar with our team environment and the rigours of travelling,” said Obst.
“As a product of the Netball SA pathway, Charlee is well acquainted with the South Australians in our team and has spent considerable time in the Adelaide Thunderbirds environment as a training partner.”
Currently in rehabilitation, Sasha Glasgow is now 16 weeks post anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction surgery and is expected to be back on court within the first half of the season.
