A product of the Victorian netball pathway, 24-year-old Eddy was a training partner with the Vixens in 2017, played for the NSW Swifts in 2018 & 2019, then returned to play for the Vixens in the championship-winning season of 2020 where she was awarded joint runner up MVP.
Eddy has cemented her spot as the starting wing defence for the Vixens, impressing national selectors and being named in the Australian Diamonds Development squad this year.
“I’m really excited to have signed on with the Vixens again and am grateful for the opportunity the club has given me over the last two years,” said Eddy.
“I’m very proud to be a part of this club, learning under Simone and playing alongside some of the best netballers in the world.
We all want the best for each other and the team so looking ahead to 2022 is really exciting.
“This year has been pretty tough for us on and off the court, but as a group, we’re taking the experience and learnings into 2022, and I have no doubt you’ll see a really determined team with our eye on redeeming ourselves and aiming for the championship.”
Eddy is the eighth player to sign on for the 2022 season, joining Kiera Austin, Rahni Samason, Hannah Mundy, Kate Moloney, Liz Watson, Jo Weston and Emily Mannix all signing with the Vixens this past week.
